The legalization of ecological compensation for cultivated land meets the inherent requirements of food security and the construction of a legal guarantee system for ecological civilization.China has not yet formulated specialized laws and regulations on ecological compensation for cultivated land,Draft Law on the Protection of Cultivated Land are still many omis-sions in the design of the compensation system for farmland protection,and the ecological compensation system for farmland has not been clearly expressed.In order to promote the protection of cultivated land,thereby ensuring food security and sus-tainable development,it is necessary to focus on the right foundation of the construction of cultivated land ecological compensa-tion system,and prove the legitimacy of the construction of cultivated land ecological compensation system.Define the attrib-utes and characteristics of the ecological compensation system for cultivated land,and then focus on the legal construction of ec-ological compensation for cultivated land from multiple dimensions such as the subject of compensation request,compensation standards,compensation methods,and compensation supervision.
