In order to face the challenges brought by a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution,lead the transformation of China's economic development mode,General Secretary Xi Jinping creatively put for-ward the new concept of"new quality productivity".In essence,the new quality productivity is innovation-driven rather than capital-driven productivity.In value,the new quality productivity is the new driving force to achieve high-quality development.In generation,the new quality productivity is the productivity formed in the development of emerging and future industries.The proposal of new quality productivity is a significant theoretical innovation of Chinese Marxist view of science and technolo-gy and political economy,as well as General Secretary Xi Jinping's original contribution of the development of historical mate-rialism.To accelerate the formation of new productivity,it is necessary to focus on the development of strategic emerging indus-tries and future industries,to achieve high-level scientific and technological self-reliance,to fight hard battles in key core tech-nologies,and to realize the benign interaction between scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in the process of building a modern industrial system.
