On Li Zhi's Dialectical Acceptance of Su Shi's Literary Thought
Under the influence of the Yangming School of Mind,the Confucian trend in the Ming Dynasty shifted,and the Cheng Zhu Confucianism,which was based on heavenly principles,began to decline.However,the Su Shu School,which was based on emotions,received unprecedented attention.In this context,Li Zhi's acceptance of Su Shi is particularly notewor-thy.As a descendant of the School of Mind,Li Zhi's theory of"childlike innocence"is far from Wang Yangming's theory of conscience,but closer to Su Shi's theory of"emotional foundation".Based on this,Li Zhi deeply recognized Su Shi's literary thought and inherited and developed it from the perspectives of ontology,teleology,stylistics,and developmental theory.Due to differences in emotional and logical relationships,Li Zhi criticized Su Shi's literary ideas and formed a radical and far-reac-hing acceptance model.
