Heading for Moral Empathy:An Ethic-Oriented Interpretation of Spirit of Craftsmanship in the New Era
Spirit of Craftsmanship as the spiritual representation of Chinese technical ethics in the new era shows its ethi-cal value not only for the emphasis on the epistemological ability of the technicians'understanding of the technical ethical norms,but also for the discovery of the relationships among"man-technique-thing".This thesis taking the western sentimental virtue ethics as the theoretical basis,studies the moral empathy in spirit of craftsmanship,revealing that"goodness"is the base of the technical ethics,and"benevolence"is the core of the construction of the technical techniques.This moral empathy has rich connotations and presents the ethical qualities that artisan spirit should possess in terms of emotions,cognition and society.Spirit of craftsmanship takes moral empathy as its ethical representation,highlighting its time value in personality-cultivating,the adaptation of the technical ethics and the construction of morality.
