As a distinct quality of productive forces from traditional ones,new quality productive forces takes innovation as its core,laying the foundation,supporting and empowering high-quality development.The empowerment of high-quality de-velopment by new quality productive forces has gone through three stages:agricultural civilization,industrial civilization,and new forms of human civilization.The development of ancient agriculture demonstrated the value succession of agricultural pro-ductive forces.Agricultural civilization reflected the growth of quantity and slow progress of quality,while industrial civilization heralded the birth of mechanized large-scale production and the opening of global civilization.The new form of human civiliza-tion comprehensively drove the development of new quality productive forces.The theoretical origin of empowering high-quality development with new quality productive forces not only runs through the modern extension of Marxist productive forces theo-ry,but also generates new production relations that match the forms of productive forces,reflecting the original contribution of new quality productive forces theory and reconstructing the interactive relationship between new labours,object of labours,and labor materials.Therefore,we must adhere to the dialectical stance of breaking through and combining the old and the new,promote better adaptation between new production relations and new quality productive forces,achieve resonance between tech-nological innovation and green development,pay attention to the hidden risks of new quality technology,uphold reverence for the natural world,and ultimately achieve the leap and transformation of new quality productive forces.
