A Study on the Competency Structure Model of Business Teachers of Colleges and Universities Against the Cross-discipline Background
Previous studies rarely discussed the competency structure model of business teachers of colleges and universities a-gainst the cross-discipline background.This paper employs in-depth interview method interviewing 27 business teachers of colleges and universities.The paper uses 23 interviewees to encode in an open,axial and alternative way based on the Grounded Theory.Theoreti-cal saturation test is conducted with 4 interview materials,so as to construct the competency structure model of business teachers of col-leges and universities against the cross-discipline background.The model consists of 4 main categories(knowledge,ability,profession-al quality and personality)and 15 initial categories.The conclusion of this study provides theoretical guidance for the competence im-provement and development of business teachers of colleges and universities against the cross-disciplinary background.
