Mineralization characteristics and fluid identification of complex formation water in Beibu Gulf Basin
The distribution pattern of formation water mineralization in Beibu Gulf Basin is complex and vari-able,and it is controlled by various factors, making it difficult for fluid identification and logging saturation evaluation.Through data statistics, the distribution pattern and mineralization characteristics in both vertical and horizontal directions are clarified, and various factors such as original sedimentary environment, surface water leaching, formation over pressure and oil and gas migration and accumulation patterns, fault faulting, etc.are analyzed to explore the main factors affecting the mineralization in this area. For fault block oil res-ervoirs with variable properties and complex oil-water relationships, the bound water saturation of the core was obtained using semi permeable barriers and nuclear magnetic resonance experiments.Meanwhile, the water saturation of logging is calibrated, and the distribution pattern is obtained based on pressure sampling and formation testing. The results provide a good reference for the formation water mineralization in each for-mation of new drilling, and improve the coincidence rate of logging interpretation and the evaluation accura-cy of formation oil saturation.
