Characteristics and main controlling factors of the first member of Liushagang Formation of WX Oilfield in Beibuwan Basin
In response to the poor and big differences on reservoir properties in the first member of the Li-ushagang Formation of WX Oilfield in Weixinan Sag of Beibuwan Basin,by using conventional pore porosity and permeability,XRD,rock slice observation, scanning electron microscope and mercury intrusion poro-simetry methods, microscopic characteristics are analyzed from three aspects:microscopic characteristics, sedimentation and diagenesis. Therefore,a set of reservoir classification evaluation criteria for the study area is established. The results show that slump-turbidite fan deposits developed in the first member, and the reservoir lithology is lithic quartz sandstone and quartz sandstone, mainly of fine sand and siltstone. The pore types are mainly intergranular pores, intergranular dissolved pores, feldspar dissolved pores and inter-crystalline micropores, and the physical properties are mesoporous. The pore throat structure is a fine pore throat, and the reservoir is of medium-low permeability type.It is considered that the first member of the 4d/5d well area is the development area of high-quality reservoirs. Its main genesis is the development of braided channel dominat sedimentary micro-facies.Vertically controlled by compaction, the shallower the burial depth of reservoir, the better the physical properties.
