Characteristics of deep-water gravity flow sedimentation of Chang 63 in Heshui area,Ordos Basin
Heshui area has been a key area for crude oil exploration in Ordos Basin in recent years. On the basis of systematic analysis of sedimentary structure,petro-logical characteristics, structural grain size characteristics and other sedimentary facies identification indicators, combined with regional sedimentary background,a study was conducted on the sedimentary types and distribution characteristics of the Chang 63 gravity flow in Heshui area. The results show that Chang 63 belongs to a lacustrine gravity flow sedimentary system, and sedimentary sub-facies,semi-deep lacustrine-deep lacustrine are developed, which can be subdivided into turbidity sedimentation, sandy debris flow and slump sedimentation.Sand debris flow and turbidity current are the main sand controlling micro-facies,which are mainly distributed in the central and southern parts, and are favorable reservoir facies belt in the area.
