Enrichment law of deep atmospheric shale gas:a case study of Baima syncline in Fuling shale gas field
At present, the exploration and development of marine shale gas in south China is mainly focused on the middle and deep over-pressure anticline, while the research on the enrichment mechanism of deep deep atmospheric pressure shale gas is relatively weak.Taking well Y162 in the south slope of Baima syn-cline as an example, based on the systematic evaluation of the occurrence state and pore structure of shale gas in the Wufeng-Longyi sub-member,the comparison with the accumulation characteristics of abnor-mally high pressure of shale gas in Jiaoshiba anticline JY11-4 well was carried out.The results indicate that(1)The shale gas content of Baima syncline Wufeng-Longyi sub-member is slightly higher than that of in Jiaoshiba anticline.(2)The porosity of Boma syncline shale is obviously lower, the porosity is posi-tively correlated with TOC,and the specific surface area per unit TOC of Boma syncline is higher.(3)The strata uplift is small, far away from the large fault zone, less affected by tectonic activities, underdeveloped fractures, and good structural preservation conditions. The bedding diffusion of shale gas from the core of the Boma syncline plays a good gas source supplement to the shale gas in the slope area, which is the key factor to maintain normal pressure and finally form the deep atmospheric syncline shale gas enrichment domi-nated by adsorption gas.
