Characteristics of the Huoshiling-Quantou Formation water and their implications for hydrocarbon accumulation in the Lishu faulted-sag of the Southern Songliao Basin
The evolution and characteristics of formation water is accompanied by the whole process of basin formation, hydrocarbon generation and accumulation, which is an important indicator for oil and gas accu-mulation.In order to clarify the characteristics of formation water and its hydrocarbon indicating role in the Huoshiling-Quantou Formation of the Lishu faulted-sag,more than 120 wells were analyzed, and the coupling relationship between the development characteristics of formation water and reservoirs was ex-plored.The results show that there are obvious differences in the chemical characteristics of formation water in the area.Based on environmental differences and preservation conditions, the formation water of the Hu-oshiling-Quantou Formation can be classified into three categories and six hydrodynamic driven forces. Its evolution has undergone the process of infiltration from atmospheric water to deposition water to internal wa-ter generation. The formation water below the Yingcheng Formation are mainly characterized by compaction and endogenous driven, and shows the characteristics of discharge and recharge from multiple sedimentary centers to the periphery and internal retention, which is conducive to the development of subtle and uncon-ventional oil and gas reservoirs. The Denglouku-Quantou Formation water is mainly driven by gravity, and it is driven by gravity to drain from southeast to northwest. In the southeastern and central parts of the faul-ted-sag,oil and gas reservoirs dominated by structures are developed. The results have a good guiding ref-erence for reservoir distribution and exploration deployment in other faulted basins in eastern China.
