Objective To investigate the application value of magnetic resonance perfusion weighted imaging(MR-PWI)and diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in the diagnosis of glioblastoma. Methods A total of 80 patients with glioblastoma in the Mianyang Central Hospital between January 2021 and January 2023 were enrolled as the research objects. All the patients underwent MR-PWI and DTI scans.According to presence or absence of postoperative recurrence of glioblastoma, they were divided into recurrence group and non-recurrence group.MR-PWI scan parameters(cerebral blood volume(CBV)ratio, cerebral blood flow(CBF)ratio, mean transit time(MTT)ratio, time to peak(TTP)ratio)and DTI scan parameters(maximum value of fractional anisotropy(FA),mean value of FA,the minimum value of FA)were compared between the two groups. The diagnostic value of MR-PWI and DTI for glioblastoma was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results The ratios of CBV and CBF in recurrence group were higher than those in non-recurrence group(t=5.454,4.404,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in MTT or TTP between the two groups(P>0.05).ROC curves analysis showed that AUC of CBV combined with CBF in the diagnosis of glioblastoma recurrence was 0.888,which was greater than that of CBV and CBF alone(0.818,0.778,respectively;Z=2.255,2.484,P<0.05).The maximum value and mean value of FA in recurrence group were lower than those in non-recurrence group(t=5.033,3.894,P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the minimum value of FA between the two groups(P>0.05).ROC curves analysis showed that AUC of the maximum FA combined with the mean FA in the diagnosis of postoperative recurrence of glioblastoma was 0.831,which was greater than the maximum FA and the mean FA(0.793,0.737,respectively).Conclusion MR-PWI and DTI scans are beneficial to diagnose postoperative recurrence of glioblastoma.
