Observation of the effect of endovascular therapy based on Solitaire AB stent in the treatment of acute mild ischemic stroke with large artery occlusion
Objective To observe the effect of endovascular therapy(EVT)based on Solitaire AB stent in the treatment of acute mild ischemic stroke(MIS)with large artery occlusion.Methods The clinical data of 108 patients with acute MIS with large artery occlusion admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College from January 2021 to May 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into the observation group(56 cases)and the control group(52 cases).The patients in the control group received medication and patients in the observation group received EVT based on the Solitaire AB stent.The patients in both groups were followed up for 3 months.The efficacy,vascular recanalization rate,adverse reactions,NIHSS score,modified Rankin scale(mRS)score,and activities of daily living(ADL)scores of the patients in the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate and vascular recanalization rate in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no difference in NIHSS,mRS and ADL scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of NIHSS and mRS in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The ADL score was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of EVT based on Solitaire AB stent in the treatment of acute MIS with large artery occlusion is better than that of drug therapy alone,it can significantly improve the neurological function,daily living ability and short-term prognosis,and does not significantly increase the incidence of adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical application.
