An Evidence-based Summary of Nutritional Management in Hospice Care for Terminally Ill Cancer Patients
[Objective]To search and evaluate relevant evidence on nutritional management in hospice care for terminally ill cancer patients both domestically and internationally,providing evidence-based support for clinical workers.[Methods]A literature search was conducted based on the evidence resource"6S"model,with a search pe-riod from database establishment to December 2022.Two researchers evaluated the quality of the included literature and extracted evidence.[Results]A total of 13 articles were included,and 28 evidence were extracted,including 24 A-level recommendations and 4 B-level recommendations.Building a nutrition support team was a solid foundation for the nutrition management of terminally ill cancer patients.Providing medication and non medication interventions was a key link in the nutrition management of terminally ill cancer patients,and adopting enteral and parenteral nu-trition was a supplementary means of nutrition management for terminally ill cancer patients.[Conclusion]Clinical staff can refer to the best evidence of nutritional management in hospice care for terminally ill cancer patients,and fully consider the personal wishes of patients and their families to develop personalized nutritional support plans for patients.
