Differential Diagnostic Value of the Ratio of Vertebral Cancellous Bone CT Value Combined with Bone Density Value in Fresh and Old Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures
[Objective]To explore the differential diagnostic value of the ratio of vertebral cancellous bone CT value combined with bone density of in fresh and old osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.[Meth-ods]A total of 82 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(82 vertebrae in total)who were treated at Yulin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to January 2022 were divided into fresh fractures(observation group)based on the results of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)examination,n=50)and old fractures(control group,n=32),The CT values and bone density ratio of two groups of verte-bral cancellous bone were compared;Logistic multiple factor analysis was used to investigate the influencing factors of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures; The diagnostic efficacy of CT values and bone density ratio of vertebral cancellous bone for fresh and old fractured vertebrae was analyzed using receiver oper-ating characteristic(ROC)curves.[Results]The CT value of vertebral cancellous bone in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the bone density ratio was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The results of logistic multivariate analysis showed that CT values and bone density ratio of vertebral cancellous bone were both influencing factors for fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(P<0.05).The AUC of fresh and old fractured vertebrae was 0.654 and 0.703,respectively,in the differential diagnosis of vertebral cancellous bone CT value and bone density ratio. The AUC of combined dif-ferential diagnosis of fresh and old fractured vertebrae was 0.856.[Conclusion]The CT value and bone density ratio of vertebral cancellous bone have certain differential value for fresh and old fractured vertebrae, and their combined differential diagnosis has higher value for fresh and old fractured vertebrae.
