The Effect of Pro-kin Balance System Combined with Blood Flow Restriction Training on Knee Prop-rioception,Knee Joint Function, and Motor Coordination in Patients after Anterior Cruciate Liga-ment Reconstruction Surgery
[Objective]To explore the effects of Pro-kin balance system combined with blood flow restriction(BFR)training on knee proprioception, knee joint function, and motor coordination in patients undergoing anterior cruciate liga-ment reconstruction surgery.[Methods]A total of 82 patients who underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction sur-gery in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 41 patients in each group. The control group received postopera-tive BFR training, while the observation group received postoperative Pro-kin balance system training in addition to the con-trol group. After 3 months of treatment, two groups were compared in terms of quadriceps cross-sectional area, flexor ex-tensor ratio(H/Q),relative peak torque(PT/BW),knee proprioceptive index, knee joint function score, and motor coordi-nation.[Result s]The difference in cross-sectional area of the quadriceps femoris muscle on the affected side between 7 days and 3 months after surgery in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05);The difference in H/Q,PT/BW,30° position deviation,60° position deviation, collaborative contraction rate, and average energy fre-quency between the observation group at 7 days and 3 months after surgery was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).The difference in knee joint function scores between the two groups at 1 month and 3 months after surgery was sig-nificantly higher than that at 1 week after surgery, with statistical significance(P<0.05).In addition, the knee joint func-tion scores in the observation group at 1 month and 3 months after surgery were significantly higher than those in the con-trol group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The difference in collaborative contraction rate and average energy fre-quency between the observation group and the control group at 7 days and 3 months after surgery were all statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).[Conclusion]The combination of Pro-kin balance system and BFR training can inhibit quadriceps atro-phy,promote knee joint function recovery, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
