Clinical Efficacy of Qingao Xiaojitang in Treating Pediatric Digestive Disorders and its Impact on Gastrointestinal Function Indicators
[Objective]To explore the clinical efficacy of Qingao Xiaojitang in treating pediatric digestive disor-ders and its impact on gastrointestinal function indicators.[Methods]A total of 124 children with digestive disorders admitted to two hospitals from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group(treated with domperidone combined with Qingao Xiaojitang)and a control group(treated with domperidone)using a random number table method, with 62 cases in each group. Two groups were compared in terms of clinical ef-ficacy,TCM syndrome scores, gastrointestinal hormone levels, and changes in gastric motility before and after treat-ment.[Results]The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.32%(56/62),which was higher than the control group's 75.81%(47/62),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.644,P<0.05).After treat-ment,the scores of early satiety, nausea, abdominal distension, belching, etc.in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of MTL,GAS,and GHR in both groups of children were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Af-ter treatment, the frequency and amplitude of gastric contraction waves in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with a statistically significant differ-ence(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Qingao Xiaojitang has significant clinical efficacy in treating pediatric digestive disor-ders,effectively alleviating gastrointestinal hormone levels and improving gastric motility indicators.
