Clinical Efficacy of Liangxue Huoxuetang Combined with UVB Phototherapy in the Treatment of Blood Heat Psoriasis Patients
[Objective]To explore the clinical efficacy of Liangxue Huoxuetang combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B(UVB)phototherapy in the treatment of blood heat psoriasis patients.[Methods]A total of 80 patients with blood heat psoriasis treated in our hospital from January 2021 to May 2022 were selected and divided into a control group(treated with triamcinolone acetonide urea cream combined with Liangxue Huoxu-etang)and an observation group(treated with UVB phototherapy on the basis of the control group)according to admission order,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)score,stratum corneum water content,sebum content,levels of re-lated factors[interleukin-17(IL-17),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)],and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.[Results]The clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the PASI scores,IL-17,VEGF,and MCP-1 in both groups decreased compared to before treatment,and the above indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05);After treatment,the water content and sebum content of the stratum corneum in both groups signifi-cantly increased compared to before treatment(P＜0.05);And the water content and sebum content of the stratum corneum in observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(P＞0.05).[Conclusion]The combination of Liangxue Huoxuetang and UVB phototherapy has good clinical efficacy in treating patients with blood heat psoriasis,significantly improving the degree of skin lesions and re-lated factors,and has good safety.
