Diagnostic Value of High Frequency Ultrasound Combined with Ultrasonographic Microvascular Im-aging in Diagnosis of Neck Lymph Node Metastasis in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma
[Objective]To investigate the diagnostic value of high frequency ultrasound combined with ultrasono-graphic microvascular imaging in neck lymph node metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma.[Methods]A retro-spective analysis was performed on 60 patients with a total of 90 lymph nodes who underwent thyroid papillary car-cinoma surgery and neck lymph node dissection in our hospital from January 2020 to June 2023.High-frequency ul-trasound,Ultrasonographic microvascular imaging, and high-frequency ultrasound combined with Ultrasonographic microvascular imaging were performed before surgery to compare the accuracy of diagnosing metastatic lymph nodes.[Results]A total of 90 cervical lymph nodes were metastatic in 60 patients,65 of which were in the central neck and 25 in the lateral neck. The accuracy of high-frequency ultrasound combined with Ultrasonographic micro-vascular imaging in diagnosing cervical lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that of high-frequency ultrasound and Ultrasonographic microvascular imaging alone(P<0.05).High-frequency ultrasonography showed that 44 patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma had short rod-shaped and dot-shaped blood flow signals inside or a-round the lesions, and 5 patients had branch-shaped blood flow signals inside the lesions.Ultrasonographic micro-vascular imaging showed that short rod-shaped and dot-shaped blood flow signals inside or around the lesions were seen in 40 patients, and branch-shaped blood flow signals inside the lesions were seen in 14 patients.[Conclusion]High frequency ultrasound combined with ultra-micro angiography is of high diagnostic value in neck lymph node metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma.
