The Efficacy of Lu's Acupuncture on Gastrointestinal Dysfunction and Postoperative Pain in Patients with Gastrointestinal Tumors Following Laparoscopic Surgery
[Objective]To investigate the efficacy of Lus acupuncture on gastrointestinal dysfunction and pain in pa-tients with gastrointestinal tumors after laparoscopic surgery.[Methods]Sixty patients requiring laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal tumors were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received conventional postoperative treatment, while the observation group received intervention with Lus acupuncture to strengthen the spleen and promote bowel function. The postoperative inflammatory factors[in-terleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)levels],pain scores at 48 hours post-surgery,incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions, and recovery status were compared between the two groups.[Results]On the fifth postoperative day,the levels of IL-6,PCT,and hs-CRP,the pain score(VAS)at 48 hours post-surgery,and the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time for bowel sounds, the time of first getting out of bed and the time of first eating after surgery were all shorter in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).[Conclu-sion]The application of Lus acupuncture significantly improves gastrointestinal function and pain level in patients with gastrointestinal tumors after laparoscopic surgery and reduces the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions.
