Effects of Collaborative Nursing between Medical Staff and Family Members Combined with Child-Friendly Intervention on Symptom Recovery and Cooperation in Children with Pneumonia
[Objective]To explore the effects of coordinated nursing of medical staff and family members combined with child-friendly intervention on the recovery of symptoms and cooperation of children with pneu-monia.[Methods]From January 2022 to December 2023,102 children with pneumonia admitted to our hospi-tal were assigned into the control group(51 cases, with conventional nursing)and the observation group(51 cases, using collaborative nursing between medical staff and family members combined with child-friendly in-tervention based on conventional nursing)using a random number table method. The recovery of symptoms, lung function, medical fear, cooperation, and complications were compared between the two groups.[Results]The fever reduction time, cough disappearance time, and lung rales disappearance time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05),the cooperation degree was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the total incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow(PEF),and one second rate(FEV1/FVC)of both groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),the scores of various dimensions of the Children's Medical Fear Scale(CMFS)were lower than that before intervention(P<0.05),and the changes in the above indicators in the observation group were greater than those in the con-trol group(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Collaborative nursing between medical staff and family members com-bined with child-friendly intervention can promote symptom recovery in children with pneumonia, improve lung function and cooperation, reduce medical fear and incidence of complications.
