Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Fear of Disease Progression in Patients with Condyloma Acuminatum
Objective To explore the current situation and related influencing factors of fear of disease progression in patients with condyloma acuminatum. Methods A total of 263 patients diagnosed with condyloma acuminatum from December 2021 to January 2023 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected by convenience sampling method. The general data questionnaire, the Chinese version of the simplified fear disease progression scale, the Chinese version of the pain disclosure index scale, and the short form of the mental resilience scale were used for the investigation.Spearman rank correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS 25.0 were used to analyze the related factors affecting the progression of fear disease in patients with condyloma acuminata. Results The score of patients'fear disease progression was(38.21±5.64)points,the score of mental resilience was[73.00(65.00,77.00)]points,and the score of self-disclosure was[35.00(31.00,39.00)]points.The level of mental resilience, the level of self-disclosure,the time of diagnosis, and whether the patients were treated for the first time were related factors affecting the level of patients'fear disease progression. Conclusion Attention should be paid to patients with a long diagnosis time, and intervention should be carried out in the first treatment to promote self-disclosure,improve psychological resilience, and reduce the fear of disease progression.
