Correlation Between the Development of Fear Disease and Cognitive Emotional Regulation,Spouse Support Perception in Young and Middle Aged Breast Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the correlation between the fear of disease progression and cognitive emotion regulation, spouse support perception in young and middle-aged breast cancer patients,so as to provide evidence for clinical development of targeted interventions. Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select young and middle-aged breast cancer patients admitted to Henan Cancer Hospital from March 2021 to April 2022 as the research objects. The patients were investigated using general information questionnaire, fear disease progression simplified scale, the Chinese version of cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire and spouse support perception scale. Results The score of fear of disease progression in 225 patients was(39.56±7.48)points,the score of cognitive emotion regulation was(122.39±16.71)points,and the score of spouse support perception was(90.30±11.42)points.Positive cognitive emotion regulation was negatively correlated with spouse support perception and fear disease progression score(P<0.05),while negative cognitive emotion regulation was positively correlated with fear disease progression score(P<0.05).Hierarchical regression showed that age, disease stage, perception of spouse support and cognitive emotion regulation mode were the main factors affecting the fear of disease progression in young and middle-aged breast cancer patients(P<0.05),which explained 42.8%of the variation in the fear of disease progression score.Positive cognitive emotion regulation and spouse support perception negatively predict the development of fear disease, while negative cognitive emotion regulation can positively predict the development of fear disease. Conclusion Young and middle-aged patients with breast cancer have a serious fear of disease progression.Different cognitive emotion regulation modes and spouse support perception levels can affect patients'fear of disease progression.Nursing staff can promote patients to adopt positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies through group cognitive behavior intervention, enhance the perception of spouse support, and reduce the fear of disease progression.
