Thyroid Nodule Detection and Influencing Factors in Healthy People
Objective To investigate the detection of thyroid nodules(TNs)in healthy people and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of thyroid nodules. Methods A total of 15 393 healthy subjects from January 1,2022 to April 30,2023 were selected and examined by Doppler ultrasound. The prevalence rate of TNs was analyzed according to age stratification and sex,and the influencing factors of TNs were analyzed by univariate and multivariate logistic regression equations. Results In 15 393 healthy subjects,5 001 cases of TNs were detected, the detection rate was 32.49%(5 001/15 393).The detection rate of TNs in different age groups of males was lower than that of females(P<0.05).The detection rate of TNs in healthy people showed an increasing trend with age(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose(FPG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),gender,age,smoking,drinking,hyperlipidemia,diabetes,metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, anxiety and depression between the two groups(P<0.05).Age,sex,diabetes,lipid metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, anxiety, depression were independent influencing factors of TNs(P<0.05).Conclusion The detection rate of TNs in healthy people is higher, which is mainly related to age, sex, diabetes, lipid metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, anxiety, depression and other factors. It is necessary to popularize thyroid color ultrasound examination in clinical health examination to realize the prevention and treatment of thyroid diseases as soon as possible.
