Status and Influencing Factors Investigation of Knowledge-Attitude-Practice of Surgical Nurses in Ningxia 3A-Level General Hospitals in Preventing Venous Thromboembolism
Objective To understand the current situation of surgical nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice in preventing patients from venous thromboembolism(VTE)formation in Class Ⅲ and Class A hospitals in Ningxia,and analyze its influencing factors.Methods Using the convenient sampling method,283 surgical nurses from 3 public tertiary A hospitals in Ningxia were selected and investigated using the self-designed general data questionnaire and the knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire formed by surgical nurses to prevent patients from VTE.Results The total score of surgical nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice in preventing VTE formation was(167.58±14.92),and the total score rate was 79.80％.The scores and scoring rates of knowledge-attitude-practicer were(54.26±10.98),(43.53±2.72),(69.79±7.94)and 72.34％,87.05％and 82.11％respectively.The results of multiple linear regression showed that different departments,bed utilization rate and training frequency were independent influencing factors on the scores of the surgical nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire for VTE prevention.Conclusion The knowledge-attitude-practice of surgical nurses to prevent patients from VTE in Ningxia is generally at a moderate level.The training and management of surgical VTE specialist nurses should be strengthened to improve the quality of specialist nursing.
