Influential Factors of Reflux Esophagitis in Elderly Patients with Esophageal Cancer After Surgery
Objective To investigate the risk factors of reflux esophagitis in elderly patients with esophageal cancer after surgery. Methods A total of 154 elderly patients with esophageal cancer who underwent radical surgery in the hospital from July 2018 to May 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were grouped based on whether they developed reflux esophagitis.Univariate and logistic regression models were used to analyze the relationship between relevant indicators and the occurrence of reflux esophagitis after radical surgery in elderly esophageal cancer patients, and targeted intervention measures were formulated. Results There were 44 out of 154(28.57%)elderly patients with esophageal cancer undergoing radical surgery developed reflux esophagitis. There were statistical differences in smoking history, body mass index(BMI),alcohol consumption history, blood glucose level, albumin level, digestive tract reconstruction method,Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores between the two groups(P<0.05).BMI,smoking history, blood glucose level, digestive remodeling mode,HAMA score and HAMD score were the influencing factors of induced reflux esophagitis. Conclusion The risk of reflux esophagitis in elderly patients after radical resection of esophageal cancer is higher, which is mainly related to BMI,smoking history, blood glucose level, digestive tract reconstruction mode,HAMA score,HAMD score.
