Changes of Plasma Albumin,Serum Inflammatory Factors and Serum Uric Acid Levels in Patients with Bipolar Disorder with Psychotic Symptoms and Their Clinical Significance
Objective To investigate the changes of plasma albumin, serum inflammatory factors and blood uric acid levels in patients with bipolar disorder with psychotic symptoms and their clinical significance. Methods From September 2020 to October 2022,108 patients with bipolar disorder who were treated in hospital with psychotic symptoms were included in the observation group, and 71 patients with bipolar disorder who were treated inhospital during the same period were included in the control group.Changes in plasma albumin, serum inflammatory factors and blood uric acid levels were compared between the two groups. In addition, the patients were divided into different subgroups according to different attack states, and the changes of plasma albumin, serum inflammatory factors and blood uric acid levels in different attack states were compared. The suicidal ideation was divided into different subgroups according to the existence of suicidal ideation, and the relationship between suicidal ideation and plasma albumin, serum inflammatory factors and blood uric acid levels was analyzed. Results The plasma albumin of observation group was lower than that of control group, and the levels of serum uric acid,interleukin-6(IL-6),IL-4 and IL-1 β were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The plasma albumin of manic episode and depressive episode was lower than that of mixed episode, and the levels of serum uric acid,IL-6,IL-4 and IL-1 β of manic episode and depressive episode were higher than those of mixed episode(P<0.05),but there were no statistical differences in the above indexes between manic episode and depressive episode(P>0.05).In bipolar patients with psychotic symptoms, the levels of albumin with suicidal ideation were significantly lower than those without suicidal ideation, and the levels of uric acid,IL-6,IL-4 and IL-1 β were higher than those without suicidal ideation(P<0.05).Conclusion Monitoring plasma albumin, serum uric acid and serum inflammatory cytokines in bipolar disorder patients is of great value in the assessment of psychotic symptoms with or without psychotic symptoms and suicidal ideation.
