Clinical Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Urinary Tract Infection After Bladder Cancer Surgery
Objective To investigate the clinical features and related factors of urinary tract infection after bladder cancer surgery. Methods A total of 256 patients with bladder cancer who underwent bladder cancer resection in hospital from January 2018 to May 2023 were divided into groups according to whether urinary tract infection occurred after surgery. The clinical data of the two groups were compared, and the risk factors of urinary tract infection after bladder cancer surgery were analyzed by logistic regression equation. Results Urinary tract infection occurred in 49 of 256 cases(19.14%)of bladder cancer after operation.Diabetes, bladder flushing time and serum C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS),interferon-γ(IFN-y)between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Diabetes,bladder flushing time(≥2 days)and serum CRP,PCT,iNOS,IFN-γ were the risk factors for postoperative urinary tract infections in patients with cystitis(P<0.05).Conclusion Diabetes mellitus, bladder irrigation time and serum levels of CRP,PCT,iNOS and IFN-γ are all influencing factors of urinary tract infection after bladder cancer surgery.Clinical prevention and intervention should be targeted to promote the improvement of prognosis.
