Relationship Between LMR,miR-21,HOPX and the Volume Change Parameters of Cervical Cancer During Synchronous Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy, and the Value of Combined Prediction of Prognosis
Objective To explor the levels of serum lymphocyte/monocyte ratio(LMR),microRNA-21(miR-21),and transcription factor containing homeodomain-only protein homeobox(HOPX)in patients undergoing simultaneous radiotherapy for cervical cancer, and to analyze their correlation with tumor volume change parameters[tumor shrinkage rate(TVRR)]and their predictive value on prognosis. Methods A total of 108 patients with cervical cancer treated in hospitals from June 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Based on the prognosis within 3 months after treatment, they were divided into poor prognosis group(37 cases)and good prognosis group(71 cases). The clinical data,TVRR,and serum LMR,miR-21,and HOPX levels were compared between the two groups. The correlation between serum LMR,miR-21,and HOPX levels and clinical pathological characteristics and TVRR was analyzed.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the prognostic factors. The prognostic prediction efficacy of serum indicators at 14 days after treatment was analyzed. Results Serum LMR and HOPX levels at 14 d after treatment in the poor prognosis group were lower than those in the good prognosis group, and miR-21 expression was higher than that in the good prognosis group(P<0.05).Serum LMR and HOPX were negatively correlated with cervical cancer infiltration depth and FIGO stage, and positively correlated with TVRR,while miR-21 was the opposite(P<0.05).LMR,miR-21,and HOPX were significantly correlated with patient prognosis(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of the combination of serum LMR,miR-21,and HOPX predicted prognosis after 14 d treatment was greater than that predicted by a single index(P<0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of LMR,miR-21,and HOPX in patients with cervical cancer undergoing synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy are closely related to clinical and pathological characteristics,as well as TVRR.The combination of these three factors has the highest value in evaluating the prognosis of patients.
