Factors Influencing the Repair Effect and Appearance Satisfaction of Patients with Finger Soft Tissue Defect with Retrograde Island Flap
Objective To investigate the effect of retrograde island flap on the repair of finger soft tissue defect and the influencing factors of appearance satisfaction. Methods A total of 151 cases of patients with finger soft tissue defects treated in Nanyang Hospital from January 2020 to July 2022 were retrospectively selected.Patients received reverse island flap repair. The excellent and good rate of motor and sensory function and appearance satisfaction were calculated.According to the appearance satisfaction, they were divided into observation group and control group. The clinical data of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of appearance satisfaction were analyzed by logistic regression. Results The excellent and good rate of motor function in 151 patients with finger soft tissue defects was 94.04%(142/151).The excellent rate of sensory function was 52.98%(80/151).The satisfaction rate of 151 patients with finger soft tissue defects was 72.85%(110/151).The scores of smoking, depression, skin flap infection, diabetes and digital pain in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the hemoglobin level was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Smoking,diabetes,hemoglobin,infection of skin flap area, digital pain score and depression were the influencing factors of appearance satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion The retrograde island flap can promote the recovery of motor and sensory function in the patients with finger soft tissue defect, but 27.15%of the patients were not satisfied with the recovery of appearance, which may be related to smoking, diabetes, hemoglobin, infection in the flap area,NRS pain score and depression degree. It is suggested to take targeted intervention for the above factors, improve the prognosis and improve appearance satisfaction.
