Investigation of Tinnitus Occurrence,High Risk Factors and Prediction Model Construction and Evaluation of Patients with Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media
Objective To analyze the tinnitus occurrence,high risk factors and prediction model construction and evaluation of patients with chronic suppurative otitis media.Methods A total of 103 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media who received treatment from the Department of Otolaryngology,Head and Neck Surgery at Nanyang Central Hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected.Retrospective collection of clinical data from patients and analysis of the current occurrence of tinnitus in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media.By analyzing the high-risk factors for tinnitus occurrence in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media through single and multiple factors,a predictive model is established,and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve is drawn to analyze the predictive value of the predictive model for tinnitus occurrence in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media.Results Among 103 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media,45 cases(43.69%)were included in the tinnitus group,while 58 cases were in the non tinnitus group.The results of multivariate logistic analysis showed that abnormal eustachian tube mouth,sleep disorder,elevated serum levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were risk factors for tinnitus in chronic suppurative otitis media patients(P<0.05).The above factors were included in the prediction model,the ROC curve for predicting the occurrence of tinnitus in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media was drawn according to the prediction model.The results showed that when logit(P)>14.60,the area under the curve was 0.906.The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were 86.67%and 87.93%.Conclusion The incidence of tinnitus in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media is higher,abnormal eustachian tube mouth,sleep disorders,elevated serum levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α were closely related to the occurrence of disease,the prediction model established based on this is of high value in predicting the occurrence of disease,it could provide a basis for the formulation of clinical prevention and treatment strategies.
