Application Effect of Dental Implant Repair Guided by Digital Guide Plate in Patients with Dentition Defect
Objective To analyze the application effect of dental implant repair guided by digital guide plate in patients with dentition defect. Methods Ninety-six patients with dentition defect admitted to Nanyang Stomatological Hospital from May 2021 to April 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method,48 cases in each group. The control group received conventional oral implant repair surgery, while the experimental group received digital guided oral implant repair surgery. The accuracy of implantation, postoperative recovery, periodontal health index[gingival index(GI),plaque index(PLI)],aesthetic effect of restoration[red esthetic score(PES),white esthetic score(WES)],and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group had smaller neck distance deviation, apical distance deviation, depth deviation, and angle deviation(P<0.05),and shorter postoperative pain duration, swelling duration, and normal diet recovery time(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, seven days after surgery, the experimental group had lower GI and PLI indices(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, after seven days and six months after surgery, the experimental group had higher PES and WES scores(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of digital guide plate guided oral implant restoration in the treatment of dentition defects can improve implant accuracy and aesthetic effects, shorten the duration of postoperative pain and swelling, improve patient periodontal health, and reduce postoperative complications.
