Effects of Wandai Decoction Combined with Chinese Herbal Fumigation and Washing in Patients with Mycotic Vaginitis
Objective To explore the effect of Wandai decoction combined with Chinese herbal fumigation and washing in patients with mycotic vaginitis.Methods Totally 94 patients with mycotic vaginitis were prospectively selected in Henan Reproductive and Obstetrics Hospital from February 2021 to March 2023.They were divided into two groups according to random number table,with 47 cases in each group.Both groups of patients began treatment on the third day after the end of their menstrual period.During the treatment period,patients were advised to pay attention to personal hygiene and avoid sexual activity.The control group patients were treated with Wandai decoction,while the observation group patients were treated with Wandai decoction combined with Chinese herbal fumigation and washing.Both groups received continuous treatment for 7 days.At the end of treatment,the therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated and compared.Cytokines[interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]and microecological balance indexes[vaginal cleanliness,vaginal pH,flora density]were detected and compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and adverse reactions during treatment were recorded.Results After treatment,compared to the control group,the observation group had a higher overall effective rate of treatment,lower levels of cytokines and better improvement in the microecological balance index(P＜0.05).There was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The treatment of mycotic vaginitis with Wandai decoction combined with Chinese herbal fumigation and washing can effectively reduce the level of cytokines,improve the microecology balance,improve the treatment effect,and will not increase adverse drug reaction.
