Application Effect of ADOPT Nursing Mode in Patients with Gestational Diabetes
Objective To explore the effects of attitude-diagnostic-open-minds-planning-problem solving(ADOPT)nursing model on blood glucose control,self-management and mental health status in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 98 GDM patients admitted to the hospital from April 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group and a study group according to different nursing modes,with 49 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing mode,while the study group received ADOPT nursing mode.The blood glucose control level,self-management ability,psychological health status,and pregnancy outcomes of the two groups of patients were compared.Results After 8 weeks of intervention,the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting blood glucose(FPG),and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG)in both groups decreased compared to before intervention,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05),the scores of problem-solving,emotional processing,self-care,and collective relationships increased compared to before intervention,and the study group was higher than the control group(P<0.05),the depression,anxiety,and terror scores decreased compared to before intervention,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The ADOPT nursing model can regulate the blood glucose control level of GDM patients,improve their mental health status,and regulate self-management.
