Effect of Esketamine Combined with Sevoflurane Inhalation Anesthesia on Hemodynamics and Emergence Agitation in Children Undergoing Inguinal Hernia Surgery
Objective To investigate the effects of esketamine combined with sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia on hemodynamics and emergence agitation in children undergoing inguinal hernia surgery. Methods According to the random number table method,82 children with inguinal hernia admitted to Luoyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to September 2022 were divided into a control group(41 cases)and an observation group(41 cases). All patients underwent laparoscopic hernia surgery on a scheduled basis. The control group received sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia, while the observation group received a combination of esketamine and sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia. The hemodynamics were compared between the two groups before anesthesia(T0),after anesthesia induction(T,),10 min after operation(T2),and at the end of operation(T3).The emergence agitation(emergence agitation score scale),pain degree(FL ACC score)and adverse reactions were compared in both groups. Results At T0,the difference was not significant in heart rate, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure in both groups(P>0.05).Compared with T0,the heart rate, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of both groups were higher at T1,T2 and T3,and compared with control group, the increase of heart rate, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure at T1,T2 and T3 in the observation group was lower(P<0.05).Compared with T1,the heart rate, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of both groups were lower at T2 and T3,and compared with control group, the heart rate, diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of the observation group at T2 and T3 were lower(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the incidence of restlessness in the observation group was lower, and the FLACC scores at 24 hours operation were lower(P<0.05).The difference was not significant in the total incidence of nausea and vomiting, dizziness and headache in both groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Esketamine combined with sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia can maintain hemodynamic stability, alleviate pain, and reduce restlessness during recovery in children undergoing inguinal hernia surgery, with high safety.
