Relationship Between Serum Gal-3,PLGF and Placental Abruption in Patients with Severe Preeclampsia
Objective To observe the expression of serum galectin-3(Gal-3)and placental growth factor(PLGF)in patients with severe preeclampsia and their relationship with placental abruption. Methods A total of 98 patients with severe preeclampsia treated in Nanyang First People's Hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research subjects, the placental abruption of patients was counted and divided them into placental abruption group and non placental abruption group. All patients received serum Gal-3 and PLGF levels at admission, and the relationship between serum Gal-3,PLGF and placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia were analyzed. Results Among 98 patients with severe preeclampsia, placental abruption occurred in 17 cases, accounting for 17.35%.The levels of serum Gal-3 in placental abruption group were higher than those in non placental abruption group, and the levels of serum PLGF and hemoglobin were lower than those in non placental abruption group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Through logistic regression analysis, the results showed that, the abnormal expressions of Gal-3,PLGF and hemoglobin were related to placental abruption in patients with moderate preeclampsia(P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic curve was drawn, and the results showed that, the AUC of serum Gal-3 and PLGF in predicting placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia were>0.8,which had certain predictive value, and the value of joint detection was the highest. Conclusion The expression of Gal-3 is high and PLGF is low in patients with severe preeclampsia and placental abruption, and the levels of serum Gal-3 and PLGF are closely related to placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia.
