Application Effect of Narrative Nursing in Patients Undergoing Carotid Endarterectomy
Objective To explore the application effect of narrative nursing in patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy(CEA).Methods A total of 96 patients treated with CEA from February 2022 to April 2023 who were admitted in Nanyang First People's Hospital were selected,and randomly divided into the control group(48 cases)and the intervention group(48 cases).The control group was received routine nursing,and the intervention group was received narrative nursing.The psychological state,coping style,complications and nursing satisfaction in both groups were compared.Results After the intervention,the scores of the Beck anxiety inventory and Beck depression inventory-Ⅱ in both groups were decreased,and in comparision of the control group,the intervention group was lower(P<0.05).After intervention,the yield and avoidance scores in both groups were decreased,the face scores were increased,and in comparision of the control group,the yield and avoidance scores of the intervention group were lower,the face score was higher(P<0.05).In comparision of the control group(20.83%),the incidence of complications in the intervention group(6.25%)was lower(P<0.05).In comparision of the control group(83.33%),the nursing satisfaction of the intervention group(97.92%)was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Narrative nursing in the intervention of CEA patients can improve psychological state and coping style,reduce the incidence of complications and improve nursing satisfaction.
