Effect of Sinusian Oral Liquid on Patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis
Objective To analyze the effect of sinusian oral liquid on patients with chronic rhinosinusitis. Methods A total of 402 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis admitted to Xuchang Central Hospital from March 2019 to September 2021 were divided into the budesonide group(201 cases)and the oral liquid group(201 cases)by random number table method. The budesonide group was treated with budesonide inhalation aerosol, and the oral liquid group was treated with sinusitis oral liquid on the basis of the budesonide group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks and followed up for 1 year. The clinical efficacy after 2 weeks of treatment and recurrence during the follow-up period of the 2 groups were counted, and the clinical symptoms, immune function, olfactory function, nasal mucociliary transmission speed, quality of life and endoscopic examination were compared before and after 2 weeks of treatment of the 2 groups. Results After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate in the oral liquid group was 93.53%,which was higher than that in the budesonide group(86.57%)(P<0.05).During the follow-up period, the recurrence rate of the oral liquid group(2.49%)was lower than that of the budesonide group(9.45%)(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, compared with before treatment, the scores of nasal leakage, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, decreased sense of smell, cheek pain,Lund-Kennedy and level of CD8+in peripheral blood in the 2 groups decreased, and the oral liquid group were lower than those in the budesonide group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, compared with before treatment, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+in peripheral blood, nasal mucociliary transport rate, nasal mucociliary clearance rate and score of 36-item short form survey in the 2 groups increased, and the oral liquid group were higher than those in the budesonide group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, compared with before treatment, the proportion of patients with olfactory function Ⅰ in both groups increased, and the oral liquid group was higher than that in the budesonide group(P<0.05).The proportion of patients with grade Ⅲ olfactory function decreased, and the oral liquid group was lower than the budesonide group(P<0.05).Conclusion Treating patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasosinusitis oral liquid could effectively relieve their clinical symptoms, improve their immune function, olfactory function, nasal mucociliary transmission speed and endoscopic examination, improve their quality of life, and prevent the recurrence of the disease, which had a good therapeutic effect.
