Efficacy of Staging Vaginal Lactobacillus Live Capsule Combined with Promestriene Vaginal Capsules in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Atrophic Vaginitis
Objective To study the clinical effect of staging vaginal lactobacillus live capsule combined with promestriene vaginal capsules in the treatment of elderly patients with atrophic vaginitis(AV).Methods A total of 96 elderly patients with AV in the First People's Hospital of Pingdingshan from March 2020 to February 2022 were randomly divided into a single group(48 cases)and a combined group(48 cases).The single group was treated with promestriene vaginal capsules,and the combined group was treated with staging vaginal lactobacillus live capsule on the basis of the single group.The efficacy,symptom disappearance time,inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)],immune function(T lymphocyte CD3+,CD4+/CD8+),vaginal environmental indicators(vaginal pH value,vaginal cleanliness score),World Health Organization quality of life measurement scale score and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 95.83％(46/48),which was higher than 79.17％(38/48)of the single group(P＜0.05).The disappearance time of vulvar pruritus,abnormal leucorrhea and vaginal dryness in the combined group was shorter than that in the single group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the combined group were lower than those in the single group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of CD3+and CD4+/CD8+in the combined group were higher than those in the single group(P＜0.05).After treatment,compared with the single group,the vaginal pH value and vaginal cleanliness score in the combined group were lower(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of psychology,physiology,social relationship and environment in the combined group were higher than those in the single group(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of the combined group was 2.08％(1/48),which was lower than that of the single group[18.75％(9/48)](P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of living preparation of lactobacillus combined with promestriene vaginal capsules in the treatment of AV in elderly patients is significant,which can quickly relieve the clinical symptoms,reduce the body inflammation,improve the vaginal environment and immune function,improve the quality of life,and the risk of recurrence is low.
