Effect of PQRST Triage Model in Patients with Non-traumatic Pain
Objective To study the effect of PQRST triage model on the satisfaction and quality of triage in patients with non-traumatic pain. Methods Retrospective analysis of 100 patients with non-traumatic pain admitted to the hospital from June to December 2022,and these patients were divided into two groups according to triage modes, and the traditional triage mode was implemented as the control group(n=49).The PQRST triage model was implemented in the study group(n=51).Triage accuracy, triage time, pain anxiety symptom scale-20(PASS-20),unexpected events, triage satisfaction and triage quality were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the accuracy of triage in the study group was improved, and the triage time was shorter(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the scores of physiological anxiety, avoidance and fear were decreased(P<0.05),but the scores of cognitive dimension were not statistical different(P>0.05).Triage service, triage order, triage accuracy and emergency response score of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the accident incidence in the study group(0)was lower than that(12.24%)in the control group(P<0.05).The triage efficiency, triage evaluation and treatment effect scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion PQRST triage model can improve the overall triage quality of non-traumatic pain, shorten the triage time, relieve the pain anxiety of patients, and improve the satisfaction of triage.
