Effects of Repeated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Aripiprazole on Cognitive Impairment,Depression Degree and Symptom Improvement in Schizophrenic Depression
Objective To analyze the effects of repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with aripiprazole on cognitive impairment, depression degree and severity of psychotic symptoms in schizophrenic depression patients. Methods A total of 200 patients with schizophrenia depression who were admitted to the Twelveth Department of Psychiatry of Luoyang Fifth People's Hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected, and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.According to the random number table approach, the patients were divided into two groups:control group(aripiprazole,100 cases)and observation group(aripiprazole combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation,100 instances).Efficacy, cognitive impairment, depression, psychotic symptom severity scores, neurotransmitter levels and adverse reactions were observed. Results There were no differences in the observation group's total effective rate was greater than the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The scores of various indicators of cognitive function between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention, the scores of cognitive function in both groups were improved, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there was no difference in depression levels between the two groups(P>0.05).The depression scores of both groups were reduced after 6 weeks of intervention, and the observation group's score was lower than the control group's,with the difference being significant(P<0.05).There was no difference in the severity of psychotic symptoms between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention, both groups'severity of psychotic symptoms decreased, and the observation group's severity of psychotic symptoms was lower than the control group's,with the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there was no difference change in neurotransmitter levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention, there was a significant increase in DA,5-HT,and NE,and the change range of the aforementioned indices in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the total incidence of headache, nausea and insomnia between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation along with aripiprazole can lessen depression and the severity of psychotic symptoms in individuals with schizophrenia depression, improve cognitive impairment, and control neurotransmitter levels. It has a positive therapeutic effect and doesn't make unfavorable reactions more common. This course of treatment is secure and productive.
