Constructing and Its Application of Humanistic Care Nursing Plan for Liver Cancer Chemotherapy Patients Based on Swanson Care Theory
Objective To construct a humanistic care model based on Swanson care theory for liver cancer chemotherapy patients,and evaluate the application effect of this model.Methods This study was a prospective cohort study.A total of 120 patients with liver cancer undergoing chemotherapy in Nanyang Central Hospital from January to December 2022 were enrolled as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups with 60 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received humanistic care intervention based on Swanson care theory on the basis of the control group.The intervention lasted for4 weeks.The psychological status[assessed by Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)],pain degree[assessed by visual analogue scale(VAS)],sleep quality[assessed by Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)]and cancer-related fatigue degree[assessed by cancer fatigue scale(CFS)]of patients before intervention and 4 weeks after intervention was compared.Results After 4 weeks of intervention,both groups had lower HAMA,HAMD,VAS,PSQI and CFS scores,and compared with the control group,the observation group were lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The humanistic care nursing based on Swanson care theory can alleviate negative emotions,alleviate pain and cancer-related fatigue,and improve sleep quality in liver cancer chemotherapy patients.
