Mediating Effect of Work-Related Flow on Ergonomic Load and Career Calling of Nurses in Operating Room
Objective To explore the mediating effect of work-related flow on the ergonomic load and career calling of operating room nurses, and to provide reference for improving the career calling level of operating room nurses. Methods A total of 218 operating room nurses were selected by convenience sampling method.General data questionnaire, ergonomic survey questionnaire for operating room nurses, the work immersion experience questionnaire and the career calling scale were used to investigate. Results The total ergonomic survey questionnaire for operating room nurses of 218 operating room nurses was(50.47±9.84),the career calling scale score was(38.78±5.59),and the work immersion experience questionnaire score was(129.37±11.19).Work-related flow of operating room nurses was negatively correlated with career calling and job immersion(r1=-0.645,r2=-0.477,P<0.01),whil work-related flow was positively correlated with career calling(r3=0.517,P<0.01).Work-related flow played a partial mediating role between ergonomic load and career calling of operating room nurses, and the mediating effect accounted for 20.2%of the total effect. Conclusion The career calling of nurses in operating room is in the medium level. The ergonomic load of nurses can directly predict career calling negatively, and indirectly affect career calling by reducing the sense of work-related flow of nurses. It suggests that hospital managers should pay attention to the ergonomic load of operating room nurses, take relevant measures to reduce their ergonomic load, and improve nurses'work immersion to improve their career calling level.
