Current Status and Influencing Factors of Readiness for Hospital Discharge of Young and Middle-Aged Patients After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of discharge readiness in middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted on 210 middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI treatment in the cardiology ward of a tertiary hospital from March to August 2023.The questionnaire consisted of six questionnaires:general information questionnaire, disease information questionnaire, discharge preparation measurement scale, discharge guidance quality scale,self-efficacy scale, and social support assessment scale. Results The total score of discharge readiness for middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after PCI was(92.07±11.85)points.The total score of discharge readiness was positively correlated with the total score of discharge guidance quality(r=0.901,P<0.05).The total score of discharge readiness was positively correlated with the total score of self-efficacy(r=0.632,P<0.05).The total score of discharge readiness was positively correlated with the total score of social support assessment(r=0.686,P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the influencing factors on the discharge readiness of middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after PCI surgery include age, education level, marital status, per capita family income, disease incidence, quality of discharge guidance,self-efficacy,and social support, which can explain 82.5%of the variance in the regression equation. Conclusion The readiness of middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after PCI to discharge is at a moderate level. The preparation for discharge of middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after PCI surgery is influenced by age, education level, per capita family income, disease incidence, quality of discharge guidance,self-efficacy,and social support. The preparation for discharge of patients affects their recovery and health outcomes.Medical staff can develop targeted intervention measures to improve the treatment effect and quality of life of patients.
