Effect of Auricular Point Pressing and Bean Combined with Diet Control Therapy on Elderly Patients with Hypertension
Objective To observe the effect of auricular point compression bean combined with diet control therapy on elderly patients with hypertension.Methods A total of 80 elderly hypertensive patients admitted to Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected for the study,and they were randomly divided they were into a parallel control group.Patients who received routine intervention were included in the control group(40 cases),while patients who received ear point pressure bean combined with dietary control therapy were included in the experimental group(40 cases).The total response rate,disease cognition,quality of life[Brief health status survey form(SF-36)],complication rate and treatment compliance were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate,disease cognition score,SF-36 score,incidence of complications,and treatment compliance of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Auricular point pressing and bean combined with diet control therapy can assist elderly patients with high blood pressure to maintain a stable blood pressure level,improve the quality of life,correctly recognize their own diseases,and ensure the prognosis effect,with high practical value.
