Comparison of Intelligent Robot Disinfection and Traditional Manual Disinfection in ICU Terminal Disinfection
Objective The application effect of intelligent disinfection robot and traditional manual disinfection in ICU terminal disinfection was compared.Methods From March to September 2022,intelligent disinfection robot and traditional manual disinfection methods were used for terminal disinfection in the respiratory critical ward of Henan Provincial People's Hospital,respectively.The effect of the two disinfection methods on the qualified rate of surface and air disinfection,the number of bacterial colonies detected after disinfection and the final disinfection time were compared.Results The qualified rate of surface disinfection in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The qualified rate of air disinfection in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.072).The observation group had lower surface bacterial count than the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the number of air colonies between the two groups(P=0.103).There was no statistically difference in the final disinfection time between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Intelligent disinfection robot can improve the effect of terminal disinfection effect of the surface of ICU objects and reduce the work burden of nurses.
