Applications Effects of Nursing Intervention Based on IKAP Model on Patients with Upper Limblymphedema After Breast Cancer Surgery
Objective To observe the effect of nursing intervention based on information-knowledge-attitude-practice(IKAP)model on patients with upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Methods A total of 74 patients with upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to December 2023 were included in this study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group. The control group(37 cases)received routine nursing, and the observation group(37 cases)received nursing intervention based on IKAP model on this basis. The degree of pain,self-care compliance, quality of life and self-management ability of patients were evaluated before and after nursing, and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was compared. Results After nursing, the self-care compliance of the observation group increased, and visual analogue scale(VAS)score decreased, which were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of positive attitude, stress relief and self-decision-making in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The score of the specific template, breast cancer specific template and quality of life in the observation group decreased, which were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.59%,which was higher than 83.78%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on IKAP model can improve the self-care compliance of patients with upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, reduce the degree of postoperative pain, improve the self-management ability and nursing satisfaction of patients, and improve the quality of life.
