Effect of Narrative Nursing Combined with Peer Education on Self-care Ability and Negative Emotions in Patients with Retinal Detachment
Objective To analyze the effect of narrative nursing combined with peer education on the self-care ability and negative emotions of patients with retinal detachment.Methods A total of 86 patients with retinal detachment collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into two groups(control group and observation group)by random roll of dice,with 43 cases in each group.They received routine nursing and routine nursing combined narrative nursing,respectively.The nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results Before nursing,there was no difference in self-care ability between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing,the self-care ability score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before nursing,there were no differences in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing,the SAS and SDS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with retinal detachment,narrative nursing combined with peer education can improve patients'self-care ability,relieve negative emotions,and improve patients'compliance.
