Clinical Efficacy of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy in Treating the Poor Incision Healing After Abdominal Surgery
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of negative pressure wound therapy in treating the poor incision healing after abdominal surgery. Methods The clinical data of 70 patients with poor incision healing after abdominal surgery from January 2017 to June 2022 in the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were retrospectively analyzed, and the patients were divided into conventional treatment group and negative pressure treatment group. The differences of general data, pain score, incision healing between the two groups were analyzed by t test,x2 test,Fisher's exact probability method or Mann-Whitney test. Results The pain score of conventional treatment group was higher than negative pressure treatment group(t=2.189,P=0.032).The growth of granulation tissue in negative pressure treatment group was better than conventional treatment group(t=2.338,P=0.019).The time of incision edema subsided(t=3.077,P=0.003)and phase Ⅱ treatment(t=6.006,P<0.001)in negative pressure treatment group was shorter than conventional treatment group. Conclusion Negative pressure wound therapy can alleviate pain caused by poor incision healing, shorten time of incision edema subsided, promote the growth of granulation tissue, and accelerate abdominal incision healing.
