Logistic Regression Analysis of the Influencing Factors of Headache Severity in Patients with Patent Foramen Ovale and Migraine
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of headache severity in patients with patent foramen ovale(PFO)and migraine using logistic regression analysis. Methods A total of 100 patients with PFO combined with migraine treated in the First People's Hospital of Shangqiu from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into the mild headache group(58 cases)and the moderate to severe headache group(42 cases)according to the visual analogue scale(VAS)score.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were conducted to identify the factors influencing the severity of headache in patients with PFO and migraine. Results Univariate analysis found that there were differences between the mild headache group and the moderate to severe headache group in terms of smoking history, hypertension history, sleep quality, emotional changes, right to left shunt of PFO,diameter of PFO,tunnel length of PFO,and the presence or absence of atrial septal aneurysm(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that smoking history, hypertension history, poor sleep quality, emotional changes, large right to left shunt of PFO,large diameter of PFO,short PFO tunnel and atrial septal aneurysm were influencing factors of the severity of headache in patients with PFO and migraine(P<0.05).Conclusion Smoking history, hypertension history, poor sleep quality, emotional changes, large right to left shunt of PFO,large diameter of PFO,short PFO tunnel and atrial septal aneurysm affect the severity of headache in patients with PFO and migraine.Clinically, targeted intervention should be carried out based on the above factors to alleviate headache in patients with migraine.
